Larry Jordan Davidson

Mr. Larry Jordan Davidson, age 74 of Cooleemee, North Carolina passed away at his home surrounded by his family. Mr. Davidson was born in Carroll County, Virginia on March 1, 1948 to the late James Jordan and Clara “Lucille” Cain Davidson.  Larry was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and friend.  He is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Jordan Wayne Davidson and wife Mitzi; a stepdaughter, Debra Ashburn; six grandchildren, Tina Ashburn, Helen Minor and husband Robert, Nicholas Boykin, Timmy Davidson, Clay Davidson, Josh Davidson, fifteen great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren; one sister, Virginia Davidson Jones, two brothers and sisters-in-laws, Darry Wayne Davidson, Ronnie Nester and wife Sharon; along with one niece and three nephews.  In addition to his parents, Mr. Davidson was preceded in death by wife, Treva Mae Bondurant Wolfe Davidson; and a son, Earl Davidson.  A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 10, 2023, at 2:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home in Mount Airy with Reverend Jerry Vernon officiating.  Interment will follow in the Unity Presbyterian Church Cemetery.  The family will receive friends on Friday, February 10, 2023, from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home.  Moody Funeral Services in Mount Airy has been entrusted with the arrangements.
