Larry Dean Dollyhigh

Mr. Larry Dean Dollyhigh, 75, of Mt. Airy passed away Thursday, December 26, 2019, at the Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson.  He was born in Surry County on June 17, 1944, to the late Helen Cehen Dollyhigh and his adopted father Bobby Dollyhigh.  Mr. Dollyhigh was a retired truck driver from Dolly Farms, and a faithful member of Haymore Memorial Baptist Church.  In addition to his father, Mr. Dollyhigh is survived by his wife, Gloria Hooker Dollyhigh; daughters and sons-in-law, Lisa and Kevin Pack, April and Tim Norman, Janice and Ken Lyons; sons and daughters-in-law, Hassell and Jama Dollyhigh, Larry, Jr. and Mary Jo Dollyhigh. Johnny and Melissa Dollyhigh; 23 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren.  In addition to his mother, Mr. Dollyhigh was preceded in death by a half-brother, Jonathan Cehen.  A funeral service will be held Sunday, December 29, 2019 at 2:00 PM at Haymore Memorial Baptist Church with the Rev. Robert McCrary officiating.  Burial will follow in Midkiff Family Cemetery.  The family will receive friends Sunday from 1:00 until 2:00 PM at the church.  Moody Funeral Home in Mt.
