Larry Richard Eggers

Mr. Larry Richard Eggers, age 78, of Mt. Airy, passed away on Wednesday, October 18, 2023 at Twelve Oaks in Mt. Airy.  He was born in Boone County, West Virginia on July 12, 1945 to the late Clifford and Orpha Ellis Eggers.  Mr. Eggers proudly served our country in the United States Amry. Left to cherish his memory are daughter and son-in-law, Amanda Branch (Jason), grandchildren, Seth, Landon, and Eli Gray, Emma Branch; sister, Sandy Barker; brother and sister-in-law, Johnny Eggers( Deanna).  In addition to his parents Mr. Eggers was preceded in death by his wife Wanda Ayers Eggers; sister, Brenda Jarrell.  A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 23, 2023 at 2:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home Chapel in Mt. Airy with service conducted by Rev. Zane Fishel.  The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until time for the service at the funeral home.  Entombment will take place at Skyline Memory Gardens.
