Larry Edwin Howard

Mr. Larry Edwin Howard, age 78, of Elkin, NC passed away on Friday August 6, 2021, at his home. He was born in Surry County on June 26, 1943, to the late John Edwin Howard and to Alma Lawson Howard. He was retired from Chatham Manufacturing. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Katy Hunter; brother Alford Howard. Surviving is his wife, Linda Dockery Howard; daughter, Angela Hunter; son Chad Howard; daughter-in-law Kelly Wyatt and Fiancée Samuel Hall; grandchildren, Ellen and Christian Alvarez, Karlie Wyatt, Jonathan Hunter, Cayden Howard; sister Linda Lineberry; brothers and sisters-in-law, Johnny and Karen Howard, Dennis Howard, Allen and Sherry Howard. A celebration of life will be held by the family at Day Springs Church on Saturday, August 14, 2021, at 2:00 P.M. The family would like to give a special thanks to Yadkin Valley Home Health, and to the Mountain Valley Hospice and Palliative Care. Moody-Davis Funeral Home is serving the Howard family, there will be no services held at the funeral Home.
