Laverne Marshall Keith

Mrs. Laverne Marshall Keith, 63, of Ararat, VA passed away Tuesday, February 06, 2018 at her son’s home surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Forsyth County on December 9, 1954 to Ermie Niten Marshall and the late, Leonard Roosevelt Marshall. Mrs. Keith was retired from Sara lee and was a member of Raven Rock Wesleyan Church. In addition to her mother, Mrs. Keith is survived by her husband, Kelvin Kent Keith; daughters and sons-in-law, Jessica Keith and Travis Holt, Ann Keith and Rickey Draughn; sons and daughter-in-law, Anthony and Angela Keith, Timothy Keith; grandchildren, Austin Keith, Avery Keith, Breanna Holt, and Jase Holt; sisters and brother-in-law, Judy Woods, Trina and Dennis Sechrist; brothers and sisters-in-law, Jerry and Amy Marshall, Kenny and Dorothy Pigg; many nieces and nephews; special friend, Inez Young. In addition to her father Mrs. Keith was preceded in death by granddaughters, Alyssa Holt and Savanna Keith. A memorial service will be held Saturday, February 10, 2018 at 2:00 PM at Raven Rock Wesleyan Church with the Rev. Sammy Lawson and Rev. Nelson Parker officiating. The family will receive friends Saturday from 12:30 PM until time for the service at the church. Moody Funeral Home in Mt. Airy is serving the Keith family.
