Laymon Willis

Mr. Laymon Kyle “Bill” Willis, 80 of Mount Airy passed away on Saturday, March 20, 2021 at Forsyth Medical Center.  Mr. Willis was born on August 10, 1940 in Patrick County, Virginia to the late Wilcher Kyle and Mary Virginia Ayers Willis.  Bill was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend.  He will be deeply missed by all that knew him.  Left to cherish his memories are his son and daughter-in-law, Vince Willis and wife Deena; grandchildren and spouse, Allison Willis, Ethan Willis, Seth Perry and wife Jessica; one great grandson, Cooper Perry; along with several special cousins and friends.  In addition to his parents Mr. Willis was preceded in death by his wife, Helen Faye Busick Willis.  A funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 25, 2021 at 2:00 PM in the Moody Funeral Home Chapel in Mount Airy with Brother Sammy Lawson officiating.  Burial will follow in Skyline Memory Gardens.  The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home in Mount Airy.  The family would like extend a special thank you to Forsyth Medical Center, Second Floor ICU Nurses and Staff.  Moody Funeral Services of Mount Airy is serving the family.   To send flowers to Laymon's family, please visit our floral store.
