Leavie Irene Watson Lemons

Mrs. Leavie Irene Venable Watson Lemons, age 85 of Dobson, North Carolina, a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, passed away on Friday, February 8, 2019.  She was born in Surry County on April 25, 1933, to the late Dosier Albert Venable and the late Bertha Ellen Bullen.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Ernest Bradley Lemons, seven sisters; five brothers.  She was a homemaker, and CNA,  for twenty-six years, and was a member of New Home Church of Christ.  Surviving are her daughter, Audrey Sands of Mocksville, NC; two sons and daughters-in-law, Dennis and Eunice Watson of Kernersville, NC, David and Judy Watson of White Hall, PA.; eight grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren, sister, Bertha V. Clifton of Mt. Airy, NC; brother Curtis Venable of Ararat, NC; several nieces and nephews.  Graveside service will be held 11:00 AM February 13, 2019, in the cemetery of New Home Church of Christ Cemetery by Brother Carl Bowles.  The family will receive friends one hour before the graveside service in the chapel of New Home Church of Christ.  Flowers will be accepted or memorials maybe made to New Home Church of Christ.  “ flowers should be sent to the church”  Moody-Davis Funeral Home in Dobson is serving the Lemons family
