Lee H. Lawson Johnson

Mrs. Lee H. Lawson Johnson, age 77, of Mt. Airy, wife of Mr. Hugh Johnson, passed away Sunday, April 15, 2007 at her home. Mrs. Johnson was born in Surry County, January 16, 1930 to Hubert Truman and Iris Lee Chandler Lawson. She was retired from Renfro Corporation. Mrs. Johnson was a loving, and deeply caring person whom will be missed dearly. Surviving are her husband Hugh Johnson of the home; daughters and sons-in-law, Bonnie and Bill Neely; Patricia Harrell; Teresa and Mike Collins; sons and daughter-in-law, Stephen and Carol Harrell; Mike Harrell; step children; Deenie Asay; Judy Sowers; Jill Shepard; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; eleven step grandchildren; twelve step great grandchildren; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Becky and Ray Parker; Mary McBride; and a brother, Earl Dean Lawson. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Johnson was preceded in death by sisters, Helen Bowman, Evelyn Payne and brothers, Harvey Lawson, James Lawson and Jack Lawson. Graveside services were held at 2:00 PM, Monday, April 16, 2007 at Skyline Memory Gardens, conducted by Rev. Linda Blessing. Memorials may be made to Flat Rock Presbyterian Church at P.O.
