Mrs. Leeronie Etta Brim Easter, 80, of Greensboro, passed away Thursday, February 25, 2010, at Silas Creek Manor. Mrs. Easter was born February 6, 1930, in Surry County, daughter of the Rev. Romney Samuel and Voda Caroline Gammons Brim. She was a member of the United Church of God in Greensboro. "Lee's love reached far and wide" and she will always be remembered as a "true saint." Surviving are three daughters, Sharon Shakar and Ramona Adams, both of Atlanta, GA, and Rhonda Easter of the home; a son, David Easter of the home; three grandchildren, Charles Shakar, Tori Shakar, and Christina Adams, all of Atlanta, GA; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Oleeta Chilton and Kornella and Donald Martin, all of Mount Airy; and five brothers and two sisters-in-law, Delbert and Betty Brim, Plato Brim, and Reavis Brim, all of Mount Airy, Gloma "Jay" and Carolyn Brim of Mooresville, and Bronson Brim of Rockingham. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Easter was preceded in death by a sister, Vernie Watson; a brother-in-law, Marvin Watson; and sisters-in-law, Bobbie Brim and June Brim. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, February 28, 2010, at Old Westfield Friends Meeting Cemetery, by Pastor David H. Mills.
