Leighann Ashley Bowman

Miss Leighann Ashley Bowman, age 30 of Mt. Airy, passed away Friday, February 9, 2007 at Forsyth Medical Center. Miss Bowman was born in Surry County, April 19, 1976 to Patsy McGee Bowman and the late Sam Aldie Bowman. She was a loving mother, a wonderful daughter, and a very special sister. Surviving is a son, Jonathan Dylan Slate of the home; her mother, Patsy Bowman of the home; a sister and brother-in-law, Denise and Tony Daniels of Dobson; and a brother, Jeff McGee and Ruthie Hopkins of Mt. Airy; nieces, Samantha McGee and Kayla McGee and nephews, Joshua Stover and Tyler Daniels. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Monday, February 12, 2007 at Moody Funeral Home Chapel, conducted by Rev. Glen Delany and Rev. Noel Hawks. Burial will follow in Midkiff Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday night from 7:00 to 9:00 at the funeral home.
