Lena Belle Coleman Greenwood

Mrs. Lena Belle Coleman Greenwood, age 80 of Mt. Airy, widow of Mr. Joseph Franklin Greenwood, passed away Wednesday, March 07, 2007 at Surry Community Nursing Center. Mrs. Greenwood was born in Surry County, October 18, 1926 to Jack and Ollie Westmoreland Coleman. She was a loving mother, grandmother and was a member of Grave Moravian Church. Surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Melinda and Craig Edwards of Troutman; a son and daughter-in-law, Frank and Kristy Greenwood of Mt. Airy; grandchildren; Chad Edwards, Megan Wall and husband Dwayne; Katelin Hodges; and Baylee Greenwood; three sisters and a brother-in-law, Ruth Burton, Jackie and Bill Scott and Faye Pike all of Mt. Airy. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, March 10, 2007 at Grace Moravian Church, conducted by Rev. Tim Byerly. Burial will follow in Gods Acre. The family will receive friends Friday night from 7:00 to 9:00 at Moody Funeral Home. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Grace Moravian Church at 1401 N. Main St., Mt. Airy, NC 27030.
