Lena Frances Reynolds Worth

Mrs. Lena Frances Reynolds Worth, Age 80 of 1027 Spring St. Mt. Airy, passed away January 11, 2007 at her home. Mrs. Worth was born November 20, 1926 in Surry County to the late Walter and Lurinda Childress Reynolds. She was a retired Office Manager for Belk Department Store and a member of Mount Airy Friends Church. She is survived by her husband of 56 years Merrill K. Worth of the home, three sisters and brothers-in-law Velna and John Worth and Lettie and Clyde Inscore both of Mt. Airy and Opal Lynch of Belews Creek, NC. She is also survived by a special niece Susan Porter and husband Wiley of Pilot Mountain, special nephews Greg Worth, Shane Worth and wife Donna and Wayne Worth and wife Frances all of Mt. Airy, and a number of nieces and nephews whose lives where blessed by her love. In addition to her parents Mrs. Worth was preceded in death by three sisters, Hazel Turner, Irene Jefferson and Pauline Brown, and by three brothers Theodore Reynolds, Roy Q. Reynolds and Roscoe Reynolds. Funeral services will be held Sunday January 14, 2007 at 2:00 P.M. at the Mount Airy Friends Church with services conducted by Rev. Vladimir Strejcek with burial to follow in the Skyline Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends Saturday night 6 to 8 P.M. at the Moody Funeral Home in Mt. Airy, NC.
