Lennis Mae (Spencer) Crotts

Mrs. Lennis Mae Spencer Crotts, age 78 of Mount Airy, passed away on Monday, January 20, 2025, at the Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson. Mrs. Crotts was born on May 26, 1946, in Carroll County to the late Warren and Ruby Woods Spencer. Lennis was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Surviving are her daughters and sons-in-law, Mary Crotts Swift and Kenny, Rebecca Crotts White and Chad; sons and daughter-in-law, Darvel Daniel Crotts, Monroe “Paul” Crotts and Janice; nine grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Crotts was preceded in death by her husband, Reverend Darvel Crotts; a daughter Christine Crotts; a son Arvin Mark Crotts; and an infant brother. A funeral service will he held on Thursday, January 23, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Moody Funeral Home Chapel in Mount Airy with Reverend Sam Blevins and Reverend Steve Johnson officiating. Interment will follow in the Edwards-Upchurch Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday, January 23, 2025 at Moody Funeral Home from 10:00 AM until the time of the service. Moody Funeral Services in Mount Airy has been entrusted with the funeral arrangements.
