Leonard Dowell

Mr. Leonard Arnold Dowell, 77, of Cana, passed away at Heritage Hall-Laurel Meadows, Sunday, February 21, 2021.  He was born in Carroll County, VA, October 29, 1943, to the late Arnold Martin Dowell and Anna Mae Robertson Dowell Thomas.  He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Lynn Dowell Walton and husband Bradley Dean Walton; his granddaughter Kallie Grace Barnes; a cousin and best friend Gary Robertson and wife Esther; caregiver Jessie Ayers and her daughter Jada; and numerous cousins and friends.  A graveside memorial service is planned for 10:00 AM, Thursday, February 25, 2021, at Mt. Bethel Moravian Church Cemetery with Rev. Dennis Bledsoe officiating.  There will not be any formal visitation.  Online condolences may be made at www.moodyfuneralservices.com.
