Lester Ogle

Mr. Lester Ogle age 92 of Hillsville, Virginia passed away on Wednesday, December 28, 2022 at Heritage Hall Laurel Meadows in Laurel Fork, VA where he was for rehab therapy.  Mr. Ogle was born in Wythe County, Virginia to the late Norm and Ida Guynn Ogle. Mr. Ogle was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother and friend.  He will be deeply missed by all that knew him.  Left to cherish his memory are his sons Glenn Ogle, Lester Neal Ogle and Sherrey, grandchildren and spouse, Tammy Ogle Sturgill and Toby, Deborah Ogle, Melissa Ogle Falson and Raymond; great-grandchildren, Emily Sturgill, Abigail Sturgill, Izabella Sturgill, Chloe Gaylean; along with numerous nieces and nephews. A special thank you to the special friends and extended family for their help during Mr. Ogle’s illness.  In addition to his parents, Mr. Ogle was preceded in death by his loving wife of 71 years Audrey Semones Ogle, five brothers, Charlie Ogle, Henry Ogle, Gordon Ogle, James Ogle, Robert Ogle and a twin sister, Lillian Tolbert.   A graveside service will be held on January 1st at 2:00 PM at the Semones Family Cemetery in Hillsville, Virginia with Pastor Jeff Picket officiating. The family will welcome friends at the Semones Family Cemetery in Hillsville, Virginia from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM.  Moody Funeral Services in Mount Airy is assisting the family.
