Lettie June Edwards Easter

Mrs. Lettie June Edwards Easter age 68 of 250 Sherman Drive, Cana, VA , a beloved wife, mother and grandmother passed away Monday, June 9, 2008 at Northern Hospital of Surry County. She was born April 9, 1940 in Carroll County, VA to the late William Lee and Lettie C. Rigney Edwards. She was a member of Rocky Ford Christian Church and was a homemaker. Surviving are her husband, Howard W. Easter of the home, four grandsons, J.H. Lee Farmer. Cana, Robert Farmer, Norfolk, Josh Farmer, Cana, and Zachary Hull, Mt. Airy, two brothers and two sisters-in-law, Howard Wayne and Helen Edwards, Barren Springs, VA, and Blake M. Edwards, Hillsville, VA, Teresa Edwards, Mt. Airy, a brother-in-law, Glen Reynolds, Mt. Airy, several nieces and nephews and extended family. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Easter was preceded in death by a daughter, Vicky Regina Easter Hull, two sisters, Katie Reynolds and Ruby Lynn Edwards, three brothers, Ben Edwards, Jay Edwards, and Glenn Edwards. Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Thursday, June 12, 2008 at Moody Funeral Home Chapel of Mt. Airy conducted by Rev. Billy Moore. Burial will follow in Skyline Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends 6-8 PM Wednesday night at Moody Funeral Home.
