Lillian Elizabeth Doss Bullin

Mrs. Lillian Elizabeth Doss Bullin, 88, widow of Mr. Oscar Odell Bullin, of Pilot Mountain, passed away on Thursday September 6, 2007 at Forsyth Medical Center after an extended illness. She was born in Surry County on May 11, 1918 to the late John Murphy and Lucy Elizabeth Johnson Doss. Mrs. Bullin was a homemaker and a member of Friendly Chapel Church. She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Billy Jay and Joyce Bullin of Pilot Mountain; four grandchildren, Ronald and wife DeAnn Bullin of Mt. Airy, Danny Bullin and fiance Sandra Brown of East Bend, Carolyn Ashburn of New York and Gina Blalock of Wilmington; two great-grandchildren, Stefanie Culler and Eli Bullin; two brothers, Jessie Doss and Jasper Doss both of Dobson. In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Bullin was preceded in death by a daughter, Lucy Elizabeth Sowder and a grandson, Johnny Lee Bullin. Funeral services will be held at 2 PM Saturday in the chapel of Moody-Davis Funeral Home with Bro. Don Collins officiating. Burial will follow in Stony Knoll United Methodist Church Cemetery.
