Lillian Marie McBride Snoddy

Mrs. Lillian Marie McBride Snoddy, age 83 of Mt. Airy passed away Saturday, January 5, 2008 at Northern Hospital of Surry County. Mrs. Snoddy was born in Surry County, September 11, 1924 to the late William Frank and Cora McMillian McBride. She retired as owner/operator of Inman Beauty Shop and was a member of Victory Baptist Church. She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Dennis and Martha Inman of Suwanee, GA; grandchildren, Adrienne Bentley and husband, Justin and Caroline McRae Inman and a sister, Virginia Hall of Bassett, VA. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Snoddy was preceded in death by her husband, John Snoddy and two brothers, Robert and Kesley McBride. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM Monday, January 7, 2008 at Moody Funeral Home in Mt. Airy by Rev. Bryan Thompson and Rev. Garland Hall with burial to follow at Skyline Memory Gardens.
