Linda Lee Baker

Mrs. Linda Lee Byrd Baker, Age 80, of Mt. Airy, passed away on Thursday, December 17, 2020 at her home.  She was born in Mercer County, WV on May 25, 1940 to the late Elmer and Ruth Hemerick Byrd.  She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother who will surely be missed by all who knew her.  Left to cherish her memories are daughters, Tracey Browder and Terry Rhom; son and daughter-in-law, Christopher and Misti Fain; grandchildren, Amber Cannon, Gene Rhom, Kelsey Powell, Jordan Beketov, Jodie “Jo-Jo” Beketov, Elijah Browder, Rocco Fain; great-grandchildren, Grey and Amy Cannon, John Powell; brother and sister-in-law, Butch and Wanda Byrd.  Mrs. Baker was preceded in death by her parents, Elmer and Ruth Hemerick Byrd.  A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, December 22, 2020 at 2:00 PM at Midkiff Cemetery with services conducted by Rev. Kenneth Young.  The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until time for the service at Moody Funeral Home in Mt. Airy.
