Linda Jo Easter Busick

Mrs. Linda Jo Easter Busick, 63, of 1695 Epworth Church Road, Cana, VA, passed away Wednesday, October 17, 2012, at her home. She was born May 25, 1949, in Surry County, to the late Arlin and Evelyn Frost Easter. She was a homemaker and a member of Flat Ridge Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband, Wayne Busick of the home; two daughters and sons-in-law, Dawn and Greg Hooker of Dobson and Amanda and Travis Holder of Mount Airy; a son and daughter-in-law, Anthony and Bridget Busick; six grandchildren, Nicholas Hooker, Coby Busick, Dalton Busick, Eli Busick, Noah Holder, and Emma Holder; and two brothers and a sister-in-law, Dale Easter and Ronnie and Debbie Easter, all of Cana, VA. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Busick was preceded in death by her stepfather, Aaron "Jenkie" Francis. The funeral service will be held Saturday, October 20, 2012, at 2:00 PM at Flat Ridge Baptist Church, with the Rev. Dennis Bledsoe officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday from 7:00 until 9:00 PM at Flat Ridge Baptist Church.
