Linda Lou Edwards

Mrs. Linda Lou Jones Edwards, age 70, of Mount Airy, passed away at her home on Thursday, August 27, 2020.  Mrs. Edwards was born in Stokes County, on November 26, 1949, to the late Lee and Sallie Ann Willard Jones.  Linda retired from Spencer, Inc. after many years of service. Left to cherish her memories are her daughters and sons-in-law; Melinda Hill and husband Terry, Sherry Montgomery and husband Ben, Annie Williams; son and daughter-in-law, Jurdon Edwards and wife Jamie; nineteen grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren; a brothers, Mike Jones and Joe Jones, numerous nieces and nephews.  Mrs. Edwards was preceded in death by her husband, Harvey Jess Edwards; son Harvey Lee Edwards; grandson, Harvey Evan Edwards; sisters Pauline Medlin, Betty Tilley; brothers John Jones, Glenn Jones, and Bill Jones.  A funeral service will be held Sunday, August 30, 2020 at Moody Funeral Home Chapel at 3:30 PM with Rev. Chris Oakley and Josh Jenkins conducting the service, burial to follow in the McBride Family Cemetery.  Family and friends wishing to pay their respects may do so on Saturday, August 29, 2020 from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home in Mount Airy.  Moody Funeral Services is serving the family.
