Linda Elizabeth Gallimore

Mrs. Linda Elizabeth Jones Gallimore, age 73 of Mt. Airy, died on Tuesday, November 5, 2019 at Hugh Chatham Memorial Hospital, in Elkin.  She was born in Grayson County, VA, on August 24, 1946, to the late Boyd Jones and the late Sarah Crotts Jones Anthony.  She was a member of Rocky Ford Baptist Church and was a retired Seamstress.  Surviving is her husband Bubby Gallimore; sisters and brother-in-law, Barbara Jane and Dennis McCoy, Christine Burguess; special nieces Gracie Wade, Elizabeth McBride; sisters-in-law, Ruth Lowe, Colene, and Pete Hodges; brother-in-law, Bill, Roy, and June Gallimore.  Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Thursday, November 7, 2019, at Rocky Ford Baptist Church, with burial to follow in the church cemetery.  Rev. Claude Lloyd will officiate the services.  The family will receive friends at the church on Thursday, from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM.  Moody-Davis Funeral Home is serving the Gallimore family.
