Linda Faye Haney

Mrs. Linda Faye Burch Haney, age 76, of Dobson, NC left her earthly home on Tuesday, February 2, 2021 to live forever with Jesus.  She was born in Surry Co. on October 9, 1944 to the late George Burch and late Vertie Carter Burch.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Kelly Sue Haney; two sisters Molly Sneed and Bonnie Sneed. Linda was a faithful member of the Dobson United Methodist Church where she served with C.W. as a greeter, and on numerous committees.  Linda served as Worthy Matron for the Eastern Star.  Surviving is her husband, Charles William “CW” Haney; son, Charles W. Haney II and family; brother, George Burch and family; sister, Jean Blackburn and family; brother-in-law, James Sneed and family. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, February 6, 2021 at Skyline Memory Gardens in Mt. Airy.  Rev. Harry Sammons will officiate the service.  Her body will lie in state at Moody-Davis Funeral Home on Saturday February 6, 2021, from 12:30 until 1:15 PM.  The family request no memorials, just keep our family in your prayers.  Due to COVID restrictions, the family requests all attendees wear a mask and practice social distancing.  Moody-Davis Funeral Home is serving the Haney family.
