Linda Sue O'Neal McGee

Mrs. Linda Sue O’Neal McGee, age 77 passed away on Friday November 3, 2023, at the Dunmore Plantation in Dobson, NC.  She was born in Surry County on March 29, 1946, to the late Ralph Raymond O’Neal and the late Stella Ilene Billings O’Neal.  She was a member of The Dobson Church of God, in addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Joseph Cary Irvin McGee; brothers, Jerry O’Neal, “JC” Jake O’Neal, Larry O’Neal.  Surviving are two sons and daughter-in-law, David and Pamela McGee, Preston McGee; grandchildren Josh and Jessica McGee, Matthew McBride, Taymond McGee; great-grandchild, Leyanna McGee; brother and sister-in-law, Gary Dean and Nancy O’Neal; sisters-in-law, Brenda O’Neal, Donna O’Neal; special friends, Mae Hutchins, Pat Pettry; the family would like to give a special thanks to Dunmore Plantation and their Staff. The family will place her cremains in the Salisbury National Cemetery with her husband. The family will hold a Celebration of Life at a later date.  In Lieu of Flowers Memorials may be made to the Dobson Church of God Benevolence   Fund 132 Collins Road Dobson, NC 27017.

There will be no formal services held at the funeral home.  Moody-Davis Funeral Home.
