Linda Mae Snow Smith

Mrs. Linda Mae Snow Smith, 63, of Mt. Airy passed away Saturday, April 30, 2016 at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston Salem. She was born in Surry County on February 25, 1953 to the late Mack and Leona Brown Snow. Mrs. Smith was employed at Northern Hospital of Surry County and was a member of Mount Vernon Baptist Church. She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Michelle Swift and Marty; a son, Michael Cain; grandchildren, Ashley Berry, and Kyler Cain; a sister and brother-in-law, Nellie Reeves and Roger; a brother and sister-in-law, Junior Snow and Brenda. In addition to her parents Mrs. Smith was preceded in death by a brother, Don Snow. Funeral services will be held Monday, May 2, 2016 at 2:00 PM at Mount Vernon Baptist Church with the Rev. Bill Spurlin officiating. Burial will follow in New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday from 12:00 PM until time for the service at Mount Vernon Baptist Church.
