Linda Gail Utt Towe

Heaven is celebrating the arrival of another beautiful sister in Christ! Our precious mother, Nana, sister, and friend, Linda Gail Utt Towe, passed peacefully into her heavenly home on Tuesday, December 14, 2010. Linda Gail was born February 14, 1950, in Cana, VA, daughter of the late Leonard and Alice Utt. In addition to her parents, Mom was preceded in death by her best friend and husband, Michael S. Towe, Sr. Mom is survived by three children, MSgt. Michael S. Towe, Jr. and wife Ginger of Bonaire, GA, Allison Hilton and husband Mark of Conover, and Kimberly Towe and special friend Jeff Bowman of Pinnacle. Nana leaves behind four beloved grandchildren, Matthew Towe and Abram, Caitlin, and Hattie Hilton. Mom was a sister to six wonderful siblings, Junior Utt, Jackie Utt and wife Belinda, Mike Utt and wife Jane and Jerry Utt and wife Teresa, Belle Johnson and husband Joe and Lisa Jessup. Mom also leaves behind several nieces and nephews, whom she adored and treated as her own; as well as her mother-in-law, Josephine Towe; and sister-in-law, Betty McCormick. Our mom was a beautiful person that showed love to everyone and no one could have asked for a truer friend. She has truly blessed our lives and we will always be grateful for the love, support and friendship she gave to us all. Her spirit will always shine through her children and grandchildren. We ardently await the glorious day when we are all reunited in heaven. A celebration of Linda's life will be held at 1:00 PM Sunday, December 19, 2010, at Pinnacle Baptist Church, by Pastor Gerald Jones. The family will receive friends Saturday evening from 5:00 to 7:00 at Moody Funeral Home of Mount Airy.
