Lisa Darlene Lowe Mayes

Mrs. Lisa Darlene Lowe Mayes, 54, of Dobson, passed away Sunday, February 14, 2016, at her home. Mrs. Mayes was born October 13, 1961, in Surry County, to the late Franklin and Mary Ruth Hiatt Lowe. She retired from Pine State Knitwear in Mount Airy. She is survived by her husband of 37 years, Randall Mayes of the home; a daughter, Sarah Elizabeth Lowe of Dobson; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Anthony Shane Lowe and Britt and Alisha Mayes, all of Dobson; six grandchildren, Jacob Lowe, Andrew Danley, Katlin Hice, Isbella Michaels, Laken Mayes, and Brayden Mayes; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Susan and Stephen Mohn of Topsail Island and Rebecca Lowe of Danville, VA; and a brother and sister-in-law, Eddie and Candy Lowe of Dobson. The funeral service will be held Thursday, February 18, 2016, at 11:00 AM in the chapel of Moody-Davis Funeral Home in Dobson, with the Rev. Eddie Lowe officiating. Burial will follow at Skyline Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends Thursday from 10:00 until 11:00 AM at the funeral home.
