Litha Melinda Jones Cagle

Ms. Litha Melinda Jones Cagle, 51, of Cana, VA, passed away Monday, November 24, 2008, at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem. Mrs. Cagle was born February 15, 1957, in Galax, VA, to the late E.W. and Mazie Creed Jones. Surviving are three daughters and two sons-in-law, Jessica and Thomas Cagle and Crystal and Chad Crotts, all of Cana, VA, and Whitley Lawson of Hillsville, VA; two sons, Donnie Cagle of Denton and Jonathan Cagle of Cana, VA; six grandchildren, Haley Crotts, Christopher Cagle, Austin Cagle, Lexie Cagle, Timothy Cagle, and Chelsea Cagle; a sister, Ruth Jones of Cana, VA; two brothers and a sister-in-law, Kenneth Jones of Cana, VA, and Randy and Christine Jones of Rockwell; and special friends, Gloria Payne and Betty Hawks. In addition to her parents, Ms. Cagle was preceded in death by an infant sister, Jeanette Jones; a special nephew, Shane Cagle; special grandparents, Shade and Litha Hawks; and a special friend, Peggy J. Hawks. The funeral service will be held Thursday, November 27, 2008, at 11:00 AM at Fancy Gap Pentecostal Holiness Church, with the Rev. Syreda Bryant, Robert Bryant, and the Rev. Chris Crotts officiating. Burial will follow in the Jones-Fleming Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 at Fancy Gap Holiness Church in Cana, VA. Flowers will be accepted, or memorials may be made to Moody Funeral Services, P.O. Box 1288, Mount Airy, NC 27030, to assist the Cagle family with the funeral expenses.
