Lois Frances Stewart Eads

LOIS FRANCES STEWART EADS went to her heavenly home Wednesday, October 13, 2021, at Willowbrook Rehabilitation and Care Center in Yadkinville, NC after an extended illness. She was born on April 16, 1928, in Boonville, NC to Warren Duncan Stewart and Lillie Angell Stewart. Mrs. Eads was a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, neighbor, and friend, who enjoyed working in her yard and flowers. She enjoyed caring for her neighbors by fixing food anytime someone was sick or grieving. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Wayne Eads; sisters, Pearl Holcomb, Ruby Carter, Fronia Brown, Nell Bailess and Ruth Ray; brothers, Finney Stewart and Sammy Stewart. Mrs. Eads is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Ronnie and Kathy Eads of Yadkinville, NC; her daughter and son-in-law, Annette and Everett Johnson of Siloam, NC; a grandson and granddaughter-in-law, Andy and Amy Eads of Lexington, NC; a granddaughter, Sarah F. Johnson of Siloam, NC; two great-grandsons, Austin and Andrew Eads; a sister, Bonnie S. Ray; sisters-in-law, Lorene E. Jester and Joann Stewart Taylor and several nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held 2:00 PM on Saturday, October 16, 2021, at Siloam Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Bill Faw, and Rev. Will Hamric will be officiating the service. Flowers will be accepted, or a donation may be made to the Siloam Baptist Church Cemetery Fund at 6909 Siloam Road, Siloam, NC 27047. The family would like to extend special thanks to the staff of Willowbrook Rehabilitation and Care Center for the care they gave Lois over the last three years. There will be no formal services held at the funeral home. Moody-Davis Funeral Home is serving the Eads family.

We loved Lois. After mom passed away she made sure and cooked me a chocolate pound cake on my birthday. She was just that kind of friend and neighbor. Love and sympathy for her precious family.
