Lois Marie Gammons

Mrs. Lois Marie Faulkner Gammons, age 78, of Mt. Airy, passed away on Thursday, September 12, 2019 at Lake Norman Regional Medical Center in Mooresville.  She was born on October 2, 1940 to the late Claude Jerome and Ruth Alene Golding Faulkner.  Mrs. Gammons retired from Proctor Silex and was a long time member of Holly Springs Baptist Church.  She was a loving mother and grandmother who will surely be missed by all who knew her.  Left to cherish her memories are a daughter and son-in-law, Dr. Lisa Kaye Gammons and husband Dean Davis; son, Chad Eric Gammons and fiancé Sarah Lowe; grandchildren, Morrighan, Braeden and Owen Gammons, Caitlyn and Carson Davis, Anthony Jones and wife Amanda, Rick Page-Gammons; great-grandchildren, Kayla, Haley, Lucas and Riley Jones; sisters and brothers-in-law, Helen Ayers, Sandy and Benny Bowman, Lynn and Bobby Poindexter; brothers and sister-in-law, Jackie and Debbie Faulkner, Terry Faulkner.  In addition to her parents Mrs. Gammons was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Gray Gammons, a son Rick Gammons, brothers, Robert and Roger Faulkner, sister, Louise Eaton and beloved pet Tia.  A funeral service will be held on Monday, September 16, 2019 at Holly Springs Baptist at 11:00 AM with services conducted by Rev. Wayburn Mosley and Rev. Tim Burton. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until time for the service at the church and at other times at the home of Helen Ayers 151 Graystone Road, Mt. Airy, NC, 27030.
