Lois Alene Golding

Mrs. Lois Daniel Golding, age 84, of Mt. Airy passed away Wednesday, September 26, 2018, at Surry Community Health and Rehab.  Mrs. Golding was born in Carroll County, on March 25, 1934, to Otto and Cartie Spencer Daniel.  She was a loving homemaker and a member of Fellowship Tabernacle.  Surviving is a son-in-law, Odie Fitchpatrick, a daughter-in-law, Linda Pegram; her grandchildren, Kristen Golding, Angel Camp, Tabatha Cooper, Kara Pegram, Stephanie Pegram, and Shannon Pegram; sisters and brothers-in-law, Jeanette and Rupert Bryant, and Becky and Lonnelle Hiatt; and several nieces and nephews.  In addition to her parents, Mrs. Golding was preceded in death by her husband, Claude Golding; her daughter, Pamela Fitchpatrick; her son, David Golding; a sister, Doris Marshall; and a brother, Neal Daniel.  Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM, Saturday, September 29, 2018 at Moody Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. Donald Bryant and the Rev. Jimmy McCraw.  Burial will follow in Fellowship Tabernacle Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday night from 6:00 to 8:00.
