Lola Easter Felts

Mrs. Lola Easter Felts age 85 of 158 MaHone Street, Mt. Airy, NC the wife of the late Mr. Charlie Felts passed away on Thursday, April 5, 2007. Charlie and Lola were married for 62 years before his death in May of 1999. Mrs. Felts was born on October 12, 1921, in Carroll County, VA, the daughter of the late Calvin "Cal" and Pearl Bevil Easter. She was retired from Spencer's Inc. where she worked for 42 Years. Charlie and Lola founded and operated the Felts Flea Market for 22 Years. Surviving are her daughter and son-in-law, Peggy and Mike Hensley of Mount Airy, one daughter-in law, Shirley Felts, of Mount Airy, three grandsons and spouses, Tim and Desirae Watson, Wayne and Sandra Felts, And Eric and Kim Felts all of Mount, Airy, two step grandaughters and a spouse, Michelle Smith, Laura and Mike Marion all of Mount Airy, five great grandchildren, Charles Russell Watson, James England Watson, Wayne Everett Felts, Shawna Marie Felts, and Lisa Gail Felts, all of Mount Airy, three step great grandchildren, Jared Beverly, Sydni Smith and Audrey Marion all of Mount Airy, one sister, Gracie Easter Mayes, Cana, Va. In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Felts was preceded in death by her only son, Everett Felts, four sisters, Clarsie Easter McMillian, Hassie Easter Holder, Lela Easter, and Nellie Easter Hall and six brothers, Clyde Easter, Roy Easter, Troy Easter, Harley Easter, Ray Easter and Coy Easter. The funeral service will be held on Sunday, April 8, 2007 at 3:30 PM in the Moody Funeral Home Chapel of Mount Airy. The service will be conducted by Rev. Todd Byrd and Tim Watson, with burial to follow in Skyline Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends 7-9 PM Saturday night at Moody Funeral Home in Mount Airy.
