Lola Elizabeth McCann Wilmoth

Mrs. Lola Elizabeth McCann Wilmoth, 82, widow of Mr. James Doughton Wilmoth, of Thurmond passed away on Monday May 4, 2009 at Hugh Chatham Memorial Hospital. She was born in Surry County on December 12, 1926 to the late Clinard and Lula Murphy McCann. Mrs. Wilmoth was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. She is survived by several nieces and nephews and a special friend Charles R. Rhodes. Her funeral service will be held at 2 PM on Wednesday May 6, 2009 in the chapel of Moody-Davis Funeral Home by Rev. Robert Waddell with burial to follow in Union Hill Community Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the funeral service.
