Lonnie Gray Bullin

Mr. Lonnie Gray Bullin, 56, of Wilmington, NC and formerly of Copeland, passed away unexpectedly at his home on November 30, 2006. He was born in Surry County on August 27, 1950 to Sadie Hicks Bullin and the late Gaither Bullin. He was a 1968 graduate of Surry Central High School. He received his Associates degree from Surry Community College and his B.A. degree from UNC Wilmington. Mr. Bullin was a veteran of the United States Army having served our country during the Vietnam War. He was employed by the United States Department of Homeland Security in Wilmington. Surviving are his wife Patricia Bullin of the home; sisters and brothers-in-law Ann and Bob Lyles of Thurmond, NC, Charleen and Kevin Hayes of Winston-Salem, NC and Melissa and Ray Harris of Thurmond, NC; a brother David Bullin of Dobson, NC; a granddaughter Krystal Bullin of Texas; two step-daughters Melanie and Becky; four grandsons of Wilmington, NC and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday December 5, 2006 Andrews Mortuary, Valley Chapel in Wilmington, NC. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 PM on Monday at the funeral home.
