Mrs. Lora Jean Galyean Lowe Age 71 132 Old N.C. 89 Lowgap, NC.,widow of Mr. Dallas Lowe passed away Wednesday night November 15, 2006 at the Seagraves Care Center in Jefferson, NC. Mrs. Lowe was born October 22, 1935 in Surry County to the late Foy and Lona Lowe Galyean, she was a cosmologist and was a member of New Bethel Baptist Church. Surviving are one daughter and son-in-law Lisa and Ronnie Miller of Fleetwood, NC., one sister and brother-in-law Betty and Gray Atkins of Dobson, one brother and sister-in-law Dwain and Wilma Galyean of Mt. Airy and special neighbors and friends Sonya, Steve and Whitney Niston and Mont Galyean all of Lowgap. A graveside service will be held Saturday morning November 18, 2006 at 11:00 AM at Fisher Gap Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery with services conducted by Rev. Joe Atkins. The family will receive friends Friday night 7 to 9 P.M. at Moody Funeral Home in Mt. Airy, NC.
