Lora Felts Rippey

Mrs. Lora Felts Rippey, age 66 of Fancy Gap, VA wife of Mr. James L. Rippey passed away Sunday, October 28, 2007. Mrs. Rippey was born January 31, 1941 in Carroll County, VA. to the late Charles Sherman and Hattie Hall Felts she was retired from American Mirror and was a member of New Laurel Fork Baptist Church. Surviving are her husband, James Rippey of the home and by one brother and sister-in-law, Roby C. and Anita Felts of Galax. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Tuesday, October 30, 2007 at Mount Lebanon Primitive Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Jeff Pickett and Elder Edward Bowman. Burial will follow in the Skyview/Webb Cemetery. The family will receive friends 6-8 PM Monday night at Moody Funeral Home of Mt. Airy where her body will remain until taken to the church to lie in state 30 minutes prior to the service.
