Lora "Flossie" Wood

       Lora “Flossie” Wood, age 78 of Meadows of Dan, passed away Monday, August 24, 2020 at Blue Ridge Therapy Connection in Stuart.  She was born in Riner, Va on August 5, 1942 to the late Ed and Muriel Wood.  In addition to her parents, Ms. Wood was preceded in death by a sister, Clara Webb, and a great-grandson, Colton Hancock.  

         Ms. Wood is survived by her brother and his wife, Phillip and Jane Wood; and nephews, Carl and Creg Wood; son-in-law Phillip Belcher; grandchildren, Lucian Belcher, Robin Hancock and husband, Justin; great-grandchildren, Avery and Mason Hancock.
