Loraine Wiley Patrick

Mrs. Loraine Wiley Patrick, 80, of Mt. Airy passed away Friday, January 28, 2022, at her home with her loving husband by her side.  She was born in Floyd County, KY, on January 21, 1942, to the late Evert and Opal Gertrude Hunter Wiley.  Mrs. Patrick was a loving wife, and sister who will be dearly missed.  She is survived by her husband, Jimmy Patrick; sisters, Glynda Butters, and Betty Adams; a brother and sister-in-law, Larry Wiley and Patty; special friend, Bonnie McKinney; many nieces and nephews.  In addition to her parents, Mrs. Patrick was preceded in death by a sister, Ruth Jones; brothers, Bobby Wiley, Donald Wiley, and David Wiley.  A funeral service will be held Wednesday, February 2, 2022, at 2:00 PM at White Plains Baptist Church with the Rev. David Tucker officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  The family will receive friends Wednesday from 1:00 until 2:00 PM at White Plains Baptist Church.  In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to White Plains Christian School, 609 Old Highway #601, Mt.
