Lorene Martha Southard

Ms. Lorene Martha Dudley Southard, age 87, of Dobson, passed away Thursday, February 13, 2020 at the Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson. She was born March 4, 1932 in Surry County to the late William McKinley Dudley and the late Ila Mae White Dudley. She is survived by her daughter, Regina Ann Copeland; sons and daughter-in-law, Ronald and Karen Southard and Rodney S. Southard; grandchildren, Chastity Wickline, Kerri Dobbins, Joshua Southard and Kenneth Southard; great grandchildren, Zach Dobbins, Jaylee Southard, Easton Dobbins, Gemma Dobbins, Paysley Southard, Baysley Southard, Sabrina Southard and Jackson Southard; a sister, Polly Rowell; and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held Monday, February 17, 2020 at 2:00 P.M. at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church in State Road with Reverend Dylan Cook officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
