Loretta Ann Harman

Mrs. Loretta Ann Howard Harman, 47, widow of the late Bobby Dale Harman, of Dobson passed away on Tuesday November 14, 2006 at Hugh Chatham Memorial Hospital. She was born in Montgomery County, VA. to Dorothy Howard Howard and the late Junior Holt Howard. She was a homemaker and a member of Gospel View Baptist Church. Survivors include a daughter, Amanda Sue Harman of Dobson; her mother Dorothy Howard of Floyd, VA; two grandchildren, Lakken and Hayden Cline; four sisters and brothers-in-law Claudine and William Vance of Floyd, Va., Marie and Roger Richards of Bassett, Va., Frances and Gary Scott of Floyd, Va. and Ruth and Raul Garcia of Elkin, NC; a brother, Richard Howard of Stuart, Va. In addition to her father, Mrs. Harman was preceded in death by a brother Roy Howard and a sister Brenda Howard. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday in the chapel of Moody-Davis Funeral Home of Dobson with Rev. Jerry Sizemore officiating. Burial will follow in the Dobson City Cemetery. The family will received friends Wednesday from 7 to 9 PM at Moody-Davis Funeral Home.
