Lottie Ann Puckett Marshall

Mrs. Lottie Ann Puckett Marshall age 94 of 83 Duplex Lane, Ararat, VA passed away Tuesday afternoon, January 1, 2008 at Northern Hospital of Surry County. She was born November 5, 1913 in Patrick county to the late Columbus Wilson and Permila Victoria Bowman Puckett. She retired from Renfro and was a charter member of Doe Run Baptist Church. Surviving are three daughters, Shirley Marshall Hill of Winston Salem, Verlie Bishop and husband Richard, Avis Yvonne Hawks and husband, Lance; two sons, Virgil "Buck" Marshall and wife, Patty, Steve "Pete" Marshall and wife, Sharon all of Ararat, VA; daughter in-law, Kay Marshall of Lucas, Kansas; 19 grandchildren; 35 great grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Marshall was preceded in death by her husband, Cannie Alexander Marshall; a son, Harley Vestal Marshall; a sister, Lennis Bowman and five brothers, Cecil, Ancil, Dennie, Leonard and Lacy Puckett. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, January 4, 2008 at Doe Run Baptsit Church conducted by Rev Terry Vaughan. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 7:00 until 9:00 PM at Doe Run Baptist Church.
