Louesa Oaks Johnson Jordan

Mrs. Louesa Oaks Johnson Jordan Age 89 of 277 Knollwood St. Winston Salem, NC. widow of Mr. William M. Jordan. Jr. passed away Thursday June 14, 2007 at the Arbor Acres Retirement Community in Winston Salem. Mrs. Jordan was born January 24, 1918 in Carroll County, VA. to the late William and Mae Martin Johnson, she was a homemaker and member of Centenary United Methodist Church in Winston Salem. Surviving are one son and daughter-in-law Marc and Dee Dee Jordan of Cornelius, grandchildren Cathy Jordan of Raleigh, Michelle Hargreaves and husband Ken of the United Kingdom and Stephen Link of Charlotte, great grandchild Kaleb Hargreaves of the United Kingdom and a special daughter-in-law Carol Jordan of Winston Salem. In addition to her husband and her parents Mrs. Jordan was preceded in death by two brothers James Johnson and William Henry Johnson. A graveside service will be held Sunday June 17, 2007 at 3:30 PM at Oakdale Cemetery with services conducted by Rev. Douglas Suggs. There will be no formal visitation at the funeral home. Moody Funeral Home in Mt. Airy will be serving the Jordan Family. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Centenary United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 658 Winston Salem, NC. 27102 or to Arbor Acres Retirement Community , 1240 Arbor Rd. Winston Salem, NC. 27104.
