Louise Hull Creed

Mrs. Louise Hull Creed, 83, of Mount Airy, passed away Sunday, December 13, 2009, at the Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson. Mrs. Creed was born December 6, 1926, in Surry County, to the late Lacy Franklin and Maggie Shelton Hull. She retired from Northern Hospital of Surry County and was a member of Rockford Street United Methodist Church. Surviving are two sisters, Frances Brown of Clemmons and Betty Berry of Kernersville; and a sister-in-law, Merle Hull of Mount Airy. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Creed was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Lee Creed; four sisters, Ethel Norman, Essie H. Love, Geneva Hull, and Rachel Willard; and five brothers, Cleve Hull, Glennie Hull, Bill Hull, J.R. Hull, and Calvin Hull. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, December 16, 2009, at Oakdale Cemetery, with the Rev. Glenda Bramlet officiating. The family will receive friends at Moody Funeral Home on Wednesday from 1:00 until the time to depart for the graveside service.
