Louise Epperson

Mrs. Louise Lathan Epperson, 94, of Thomasville, NC passed away Sunday, October 21, 2018 at the Hinkle Hospice House in Lexington.  She was born in Richmond County, NC, June 21, 1924 to the late Ernest and Ruth Brady Lathan.  Mrs. Epperson is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Joyce and Tony Marsh and Teresa and Gary Faulkner; sons, Jessie James Epperson, Jimmy Epperson and Ernest Wayne Epperson; eleven grandchildren; several great grandchildren; three sisters, Sissy Brown, Ruby Shankle and Betty Lou Slocum; one brother, Leon Lathan.  In addition to her parents, Mrs. Epperson was preceded in death by her husband, Jessie Harden Epperson; son, Willie Epperson; sisters, Ann Reynolds, Grace Prevett and Doris McArthur; and brothers, Ernest Lathan, Jr., Bill Lathan and Benny Lathan.  The funeral service will be held 2:00 PM Tuesday, October 23, 2018 at Moody Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Butch Holder officiating.  Burial will follow at the King Family Cemetery in Ararat, VA.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday from 1:00 PM until the time of the service.  Online condolences may be made at www.moodyfuneralservices.com.
