Louise Christine Jacobs Melton departed her earthly existence for her heavenly home on April 25, 2025, to be reunited with her husband, Thomas Oscar (TO, Tom) Melton. Louise is survived by her sons, James Cardon (JC) Melton and Thomas Oscar (Thomas) Melton, Jr. and her brother, Jimmy Jacobs (Barbara). She was preceded in death by sisters, Mary Jacobs Jenkins and Carolyn Jacobs Chand. There will be no formal services at this time. The family sincerely thanks Dunmore Plantain Memory Care of Dobson, Hugh Chatham ER of Elkin, Mountain Valley Hospice and Palliative Care – Woltz Hospice Home of Dobson, and Moody Funeral Services for their care, kindness and support during this time. Moody Funeral Services in Mount Airy has been entrusted with the arrangements.
