Louise Midkiff Lawson

Mrs. Louise Midkiff Lawson, age 84 of Stuart, passed away Saturday, December 4, 2021, at Sovah Health of Martinsville. She was born in Franklin County on October 20, 1937, to the late Murray and Pearlie Underwood Midkiff. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four sisters, Evilene Plough, Mae Bray, Josephine Midkiff, Sandra Watkins; and five brothers, Eural, Buren, Wythe, Edward, and Richard Midkiff.

Surviving is her husband of 65 years, Clyde Lawson of the home; one son, Clyde Allen Lawson of Stuart; one sister, Marie Thompson of Ferrum; one brother, Hershel “Hub” Midkiff of Ferrum; and several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held Thursday, December 9, 2021, at 2:00 PM at the Scott-Lawson Family Cemetery in Stuart with Pastor Dan Schelling officiating. Online condolences may be sent to www.moodyfuneralservices.com.
