Lovis Beasley

    Mrs. Lovis Harman Beasley, age 87 of Westfield, North Carolina passed away on Friday, September 18, 2020, at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston Salem.  She was born in Virginia on May 17, 1933 to the late John Harman and Melissie White Harman.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Alvin William Beasley; one daughter, Kathy Dawn Beasley; one son, John Alvis Beasley; one special sister-in-law, Thelma George; her best friend, Joanne Padgett; three brothers, and one sister.  She, alongside her husband, owned and operated Beasley’s Garage on Collinstown Road for 54 years.  Lovis was a wonderful wife, loving mother, and great friend.

       Mrs. Beasley is survived by many loving neighbors and dear friends.

       A graveside service will be held on Monday, September 21, 2020 in Collinstown Presbyterian Church Cemetery with Pastor Mark Wright and Pastor Ricky Rogers officiating.  Friends may visit Moody Funeral Home Chapel in Stuart from 12:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 20, 2020 to pay their last respects.  Memorial donations may be made to the Spina Bifida Association, 1600 Wilson Boulevard, Suite 800, Arlington, VA 22209.  Online condolences may be sent by visiting www.moodyfuneralservices.com.
