Lowell Hayward Watson

Mr. Lowell Hayward Watson age 79 of, Mt. Airy, NC passed away Tuesday August 14, 2007 at his home. He was born April 11, 1928 Surry County to the late Howard and Bessie Hall Watson. He was a retired from Goodwill Industries and was a member of the Woodville Baptist Church. Surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Vickie and Perry Bryant, Jr., Pilot Mountain, NC, three sons and daughters-in-law, Jerry Michael and Patsy Watson, Mt. Airy, NC, Stephen Lynn and Mary Ann Watson, Ararat, VA, Stanley Dean and Audrey Watson, Mt. Airy, NC, seven grandchildren, four great grandchildren, two sisters and brothers-in-law, Hucie and Kent Lawson, Mt. Airy, NC, Hazel and Jack Joyce, Westfield, NC two brother, Wilton Watson, Mt. Airy, NC and Larry Watson, Westfield, NC. and a special nephew Mike Joyce. In addition to his parents, Mr. Watson was preceded in death by four brothers, Marvin Watson, Cladie Watson, Joe Watson. and Infant Orby Watson. Funeral services will be held 11:00 am Friday August 17, 2007 at Moody Funeral Home Chapel of Mt. Airy conducted by Rev. Keith Love. Burial will follow in the Woodville Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends 7-9 PM Thursday night at Moody Funeral Home where his body will remain until the hour of the funeral service.
