Mrs. Lucille Bingman Lambert, 86, of Mount Airy, passed away Friday, November 19, 2010, at the Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson. She was born May 27, 1924, in Surry County, to the late John and Mattie Mae Bingman. Mrs. Lambert retired from Renfro Corporation after 54 years of service and was of the Baptist faith. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Lou Lambert Quentin and Stephen Quentin of Winston-Salem; a granddaughter, Laura Lynne Quentin of Winston-Salem; a stepgrandson, Mark Quentin of Boulder, CO; and a sister, Gertrude Johnson of Kernersville. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Lambert was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Otis Lambert; and two brothers, Grady Bingman and Dallas Draughn. The funeral service will be held Monday, November 22, 2010, at 2:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home Chapel in Mount Airy, with Major Michael Rodgers officiating. Burial will follow at Skyline Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Flowers will be accepted, or memorials may be made to The Salvation Army, 651 South South Street, Mount Airy, NC 27030 or the Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home, 945 Zephyr Road, Dobson, NC 27017.
