Lucy Willard Quesinberry

Mrs. Lucy Willard Quesinberry, 86, of Danbury, passed away Tuesday, April 20, 2010, at Stokes-Reynolds Hospital in Danbury. Mrs. Quesinberry was born January 11, 1924, in Patrick County, VA, to the late John and Becky Willard. She was a homemaker and a member of Trinity Baptist Church. Surviving are a son, Jerry Stevens of Mount Airy; seven grandchildren and their spouses, Walter and Tammy Terrell of Pilot Mountain, Donna and Ramey Shelton of Mount Airy, Harvey and Jill Terry of Ararat, VA, Jack and Frances Beck of Mount Airy, Peggy Stevens of Mount Airy, Pam and Eddie Padgett of Pilot Mountain, and Randy Stevens of Durham; nine great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Quesinberry was preceded in death by her husband, Morgan Quesinberry; two daughters, Frances Light and Baby Betty; two sons, Bobby Stevens and Walter Stevens; two great-grandchildren; and several brothers and sisters. The funeral service will be held Friday, April 23, 2010, at 2:00 PM at Trinity Baptist Church, with the Rev. Tommy Nichols and the Rev. Walter Terrell officiating. The family will receive friends Thursday from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Trinity Baptist Church.
